Bobby Lashley wants match against Brock Lesnar; Chris Jericho says AEW still winning ratings war

Bobbly Lashley has made it clear on several occasions he wants to square off against Brock Lesnar. It has not happened yet, but Lashley is optimistic.

Lashley recently spoke to Table Talk, where a possible future match against Lesnar was mentioned. While he has not spoken to Vince McMahon, he believed there was a time the match was going to be teased. He believes it is the best time to face Lesnar.

“I haven’t talked with Vince, but I think at one point in time, there was some talk about maybe teasing it and seeing where it went. But, at the time, he was knee deep in a feud with Roman, and then Seth was coming behind him. They already had things lined up for him. I think if anytime, it is now. Now is a really good time. I think I’ve done all the paying dues stuff that I’ve done since I’ve been back. I think my character is starting to develop a little more into being who I am. I get to finally beat people up. I don’t have to lay down to people that are 100 pounds less than me that shouldn’t really even be in the room with me, let’s put it that way.”
The Wednesday Night Wars are going strong as NXT defeated AEW Dynamite in viewership numbers for the second week in a row. However, AEW Dynamite did not lose in ratings.
Chris Jericho took to Twitter and pointed this out to fans. He explained how networks view ratings and that they are only interested in the 18-49 demographic, so AEW has been consistently winning.

Here’s a lesson about television ratings kids. Last night @AEWrestling was NUMBER 6 in the 18-49 demo. To tv networks & advertisers it’s the ONLY number that matters and we were up 31% in that area! So once again #AEWDynamite is the REAL winner in the Wed night ratings war!
