Booker T recently had an interview with Hannibal TV where he talked about his upcoming Mayoral campaign, getting Lou Thesz Award by the Dan Gable Pro Wrestling Museum and more.
While recalling his backstage fight with Batista in 2006, T said that he had a disagreement with the Hollywood Star but if he met him today, he’d give him a big hug:
Men a lot of times don’t agree with each other and that’s all it was. It was a disagreement. Him and I, we settled our disagreement. If I saw him today, he’d get a big hug and I’d say, ‘what’s going on?’ You know? He’s a man, just like I am.
For those who don’t know Batista had apparently developed an attitude after moving to Raw from SmackDown and winning the World Championship and he was rubbing people in the wrong way.
During an event, he made some bad comments. This resulted in him getting into an argument with Booker T which later turned into a 30-second shoot fight.
