Sting’s debut on the ‘Winter is Coming’ episode of AEW Dynamite shocked the entire world of professional wrestling. It is likely fans will get to see him compete in the ring.
WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet, where he explained why he thinks Sting made his way to AEW.
Booker T said that there are some wrestlers in the pro wrestling business who simply do not want leave it. Booker T added that Sting likely wants to hang up his boots on his own terms, and AEW will allow him to do just that.
“Hey bro, some guys just don’t want to quit. Some guys just don’t want to leave it alone, and that’s what they do, you know? I never thought I’d see Sting doing this at 61 years old. I just didn’t think that. But I was talking on my show just last week, it’s hard sometimes to walk away from this business, and then again, after you’ve done it for so long, you want to walk away from it your way.”
We will have to see what AEW has planned for Sting.
