John Cena Sr. reflects on Braun Strowman release

John Cena Sr. lambasted WWE’s decision and believes the company made “one big mistake” by releasing former Universal Champion Braun Strowman. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns Winner Leaks?

The Monster Among Men, who made his WWE main-roster debut in 2015 and became one of the top stars in the company. He had also collided with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 37 pay-per-view.

John Cena Sr. recently spoke with Boston Wrestling MWF’s Dan Mirade, and was highly critical of WWE for releasing the former WWE Universal Champion. He also opined that AEW and NJPW should attempt to sign Strowman.

He said:

“Why would you take [release] a man like Braun Strowman?” John Cena Sr. asked. “The potential is unlimited with this man. When you [WWE] first had him, you billed him as a giant, as a superstar. He tipped over trucks and cars. He destroyed people.

“At WrestleMania, he wins, and you say, ‘We’ve come to terms with Braun Strowman.’ One big mistake – that’s all I’m gonna say. If AEW doesn’t pick that man up or New Japan Pro, there’s something wrong with both of them.”

It was noted Strowman was receiving dates for indie appearances and we will see where he ends up signing for his wrestlinf career. Will it be AEW, NJPW or any other promotion? Only time will tell.
