Championship gold is unlikely to be far away for arguably WWE’s most over superstar in Braun Strowman, and he will have the opportunity on Sunday to make that a reality when he battles Kane and Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.
While we wait for the outcome of Sunday’s showdown, the suggestion is that Strowman is likely to be moving in a new direction come Monday morning, including a potential new feud.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the current plan is for the Monster Among Men to face none other than The Miz for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 34. A possible match that is likely to cement the much discussed Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar main event that same night.
Strowman and The Miz have history going back to TLC in October when Miz worked with Kane, Cesaro and Sheamus to throw Strowman into a garbage truck.
