The former WWE star Matt Hardy recently made some bold claims about WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. The AEW star talked about Mr.McMahon’s relationship with the former WWE star Bray Wyatt. Hardy spoke about his former tag-team partner in WWE and stated that Vince insulted Wyatt.
Matt Hardy talks about the matter
The former Universal Champion was released from the company last year due to budget cuts. He had been one of the top stars of the company. He has been regarded as one of the most creative minds in pro wrestling but it turns out sometimes Vince reprimanded him if he did not put out the best idea for the programming.
Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the AEW star revealed that Vince McMahon used to punish and humiliate Bray Wyatt if he didn’t like the latter’s creative contributions:
“Windham (Bray Wyatt) has always had a very strange relationship with Vince, very strange, like, I almost felt like Vince looked at him like a son in some ways. When he would do things that he liked, he would love him and he would really give him everything that he could possibly give him. He would bend over backwards to try and accommodate him. But then when he did something he didn’t like, he hated, like he was going to lock him away for good. It was almost like a really weird, a really strange and different duality that Vince shared with Bray. When he liked him or loved him, he was all about him. But when he disliked him, oh my god, it was really bad and he would like punish him and insult him. To me, it was so strange. It was almost like a parent.”
Wyatt’s last in-ring appearance came at WrestleMania 37 when he lost to Randy Orton. He has been away from pro wrestling for quite some time. It has been reported that he is working on a horror film project along with special effects artist Jason Baker.
