Bray Wyatt ‘Banned’ From SummerSlam In Photo

The former WWE star Bray Wyatt was recently released from the company due to budget cuts. SummerSlam pay-per-view took place last night and the fans were certainly missing the former WWE Universal Champion. As he did not make it to SummerSlam, the fans were chanting his name. Security in Allegiant Stadium was also on high alert for any signs of the Eater of Worlds. Wyatt is also possibly heading to AEW and thus WWE is trying to keep his name off their television product. WWE removes the Bray Wyatt sign

Wyatt had previously reacted to a sign of The Fiend that made it on-screen during the SummerSlam kickoff show match. However, that fan sign did not last very long in the crowd.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed how WWE treated Wyatt signs during SummerSlam. They didn’t want to see them in the crowd, but one made its way onto the screen by mistake. They seized the sign from the fan who brought it into Allegiant Stadium.

“Did you hear they were confiscating Wyatt stuff? There was a big Wyatt sign that I saw during the Big E and Baron Corbin match and then they panned away really quick. I was told they took it from the guy, which actually, I was told, got heated, but the guy did eventually give it up.”
We will see if Wyatt will make his AEW debut down the road.
