Bo Dallas opens up on Bray Wyatt gimmick transformation

Wyatt underwent several changes over his decade-plus run with WWE. From the Nexus unknown Husky Harris to the fierce-natured Bray Wyatt and eventually, the abstract monster known as The Fiend, he built a following with the WWE Universe through his creative vision and unique character work.

Bo Dallas was recently part of a live virtual autograph signing for Captain’s Corner, where he answered fans’ questions while signing memorabilia. During the signing, Dallas expressed his admiration for his brother’s creativity and how he was able to transform the Bray Wyatt character into The Fiend:

“I was there very much at the beginning of him creating the Bray Wyatt character,” Bo Dallas said. “That was just a cool experience because of how much time and effort and research and what he did to make that character, God damn. Screw any Hollywood actor, man. That was legitimately one of the most impressive feats of turning yourself into another person I’ve ever seen and I’ll never take that back.”

Wyatt has been away from pro wrestling since his release from WWE last year. He is taking his time off. He is currently focussing on his career as an actor. We will have to wait and see what is next for the former WWE Universal Champion.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, former WWE star EC3 touched on Bray Wyatt’s match against Goldberg at Crown Jewel 2020 and would state how the minute he saw that he knew whatever he did in WWE wouldn’t matter. However, he would start by praising Bray’s creative mind. Credit to SportsKeeda for the following.

“Windham and he has a super creative mind. I know how much he put into creating that character. That was so outside the box, so impressive and so not WWE. It caught on like wildfire and everyone was into it.”

The mind behind Control Your Narrative would also say: “To watch him put his heart and soul into it and it’s, like, ‘Let’s have Goldberg beat him in 3 minutes.’ At that moment, I knew whatever I did, it wouldn’t matter. If that didn’t work, then what will?”
