The former WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt was recently let go by the company due to budget cuts. He was planned to be brought back into programming as he was just cleared to make his comeback to the squared circle. It turns out Wyatt was another talent with a huge contract.

Wyatt was listed as “medical” for the reason for his hiatus. This was confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio by Dave Meltzer as he expanded on WWE’s reason for not bringing Wyatt back to television.
“He had been out for medical reasons and he had just gotten cleared. Then when he got cleared they evaluated the situation and he was told that due to budgetary reasons that he’s being cut. The basic gist is that he’s another high contract guy, whether it’s because it’s concerns over the medical reasons is the real reason or they could not come up with an idea to justify his salary, I don’t know which of that it is, but that’s the basic deal with him.”
We will have to see what is next for Wyatt.
