According to Dave Meltzer, Impact Wrestling are looking to make a serious push toward the former WWE superstar as he stated on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast that officials for the company “really want” Wyatt and would like him to sign with Impact Wrestling. It is unclear whether or not there is mutual interest or what the former Wyatt Family leader’s future holds in professional wrestling. One thing is certain however, fans are waiting with bated breath for ‘The Eater of Worlds’ to make his re-emergence once again.
In other news regarding Bray Wyatt, during a recent edition of his ‘Grilling JR’ podcast, acclaimed wrestling commentator and current AEW play-by-play personality, Jim ‘JR’ Ross discussed Wyatt’s release from WWE. Once again, credit to WrestlingInc for the below.
“There’s politics nowadays because of the immense salaries,” Ross said. “Bray Wyatt gets cut, he’s got to be making north of a million on a downside guarantee and he’s been sitting home. That’s not good management.
This sad Bray Wyatt rumor just stunned AEW fans Ross continued: “I’m not saying the guy should’ve been cut, he should’ve been used if you’re going to pay him that kind of cash. How that happened is a story for another day because I don’t know the details. I do know they got rid of a very talented kid and I’m sure he won’t have any issues finding work, speaking of Bray Wyatt.”
