The releases of former WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair shocked the internet wrestling community and sports entertainment world. And while it’s only speculative that the Wyatts and Flairs of the world could potentially join a rival promotion such as All Elite Wrestling, wrestling commentator Denise Salcedo commented on potential ‘Easter eggs’ during tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite to fan the fires of speculation. This Bray Wyatt sad ‘medical issue’ recently leaked.
The alleged easter eggs in question took place during a segment which featured the Elite. The Ric Flair robe is meant to symbolize Ric Flair, the Bollywood Boys shirt is meant to symbolize the Singh brothers, the Hawaiian shirts are meant to symbolize the former Bray Wyatt and the Cookie Monster t-shirt which was worn by Kenny Omega is supposed to symbolize CM Punk due to the initials – CM. Furthermore, apparently the Bollywood Boys like the tweet that was sent out by Salcedo.
In other news regarding Bray Wyatt, AEW Executive Vice President and former TNT Champion Cody Rhodes recently commented on the release of the former WWE Universal Champion during a media call for AEW Dynamite. While Rhodes would not comment if the company would have any interest in signing Wyatt, he did state the following. Credit to Bleacher Report for the following quote. Tony Khan’s bold message to Bray Wyatt was revealed not too long ago.
“Bray Wyatt was my rookie in the second season they did of NXT. The Rotunda family and the Rhodes family, they certainly go way, way back. I can’t comment on if I see a spot for him, when it comes to us, but I can tell you, he’s an incredibly creative individual, an incredibly creative man.”
“And whenever I see someone like that lose their job or move into the next phase in their career, as someone who left WWE on my own, at the time, that was super unheard of to leave. I can’t be everyone’s sounding board, but I really want to be. I’ll give you an example. I’ll pivot away.
“I would have never thought that Matt Cardona was going to end up being GCW champion and getting pelted with trash, but I should have thought he would be doing something, and to circle back to Bray, I can’t comment on if he fits in with us, but I can say, if he has an ounce of passion for this, that guy can fit in anywhere because he’s a very special, special talent. That’s really all I could say there.”
