Bray Wyatt ‘Sabotaged’ In WWE By Two Big Names

To say the release of ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt from his WWE contract today was a shocking and surprise move within the WWE universe would be an understatement as not only fans but those internally have rocked by the move. Did Vince McMahon ‘save’ Bray Wyatt from release?

The release of Bray Wyatt came today at the alleged behest of Nick Khan due to what is being referred to as ‘budget cuts’ within the company. Still, this move is a shocking one given the fact that Wyatt was one of the company’s highest merchandise sellers and had a lot invested into his character.

Ringside News is reporting that a new PWInsider report indicates that while fingers are being pointed at Nick Khan, WWE’s President for this surprising move, you could also look at the relationship between Vince McMahon and Bray Wyatt which ran ‘hot and cold’.

Vince McMahon also recently leaked this bold Ted Turner claim. According to the report itself: “Others noted that Wyatt and Vince McMahon’s relationship behind the scenes ran very hot and cold at times and that McMahon has given Khan the ability to run things far more than anyone else has historically been able to accomplish, so there was likely less of a push-back over the idea of cutting a big money contract from the ledger.”
