Bray Wyatt was expected to make his return at Hell In A Cell
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, there was secondary market demand for the sold-out event at Allstate Arena, which was headlined by Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes III. In his Sunday daily update, Meltzer attributed the last-minute call for tickets to Rotunda teasing his return to wrestling via social media. Bray Wyatt who had been going by ‘Windham’ since Wyatt was released by WWE last summer, had changed his Twitter name from ‘Windham’ to ‘Wyatt6’. This led to several speculations from the WWE Universe.
Wyatt was previously released by the company in July last year amid the budget cuts. His last in-ring appearance came at WrestleMania 37 when he lost to Randy Orton. He was released last year during the budget cuts. He has been away from pro wrestling for quite some time. It was reported that he had been working on a horror film project along with special effects artist Jason Baker. It seems that has wrapped up and Wyatt is already planning for a highly-anticipated comeback.
the Hell In A Cell card was stacked with some huge matches but it missed some huge stars including Ronda Rousey who is the reigning WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was also missing from the card. WWE has multiple huge stadium shows planned for the near future and they are likely to return for the biggest matches until major stadium events like SummerSlam and Clash at the Castle.
