The AEW Championship was teased over the week by the British Comedian Jack Whitehall in an interesting video segment. However, the title was finally unveiled at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view by none other than the WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart.
Whitehall introduced Hart who came out with the title and made his official AEW debut on the pay-per-view. Hart called out the winner of the Casino Battle Royale – Hangman Adam Page before he unveiled the title.
Page came out but he was then interrupted by MJF who did some incredible heel work on the microphone. However, MJF was then cornered by Page, Jimmy Havoc and Jungle Boy and eventual beaten up and taken out.
On the other hand, Hart revealed the title to the audience and to the competitors outside the ring.
