Yesterday marked the 19-year anniversary of Owen Hart’s tragic in-ring death at “WWF Over the Edge.” Owen’s brother, Bret Hart, paid tribute to his younger brother today via Twitter:
I miss you every day Owen, and I vow to keep your memory alive despite the efforts to let you fade away.

Thinking of my brother Owen instantly brings a big smile. He was like sunshine every day.

Owen Hart, while working the Blue Blazer gimmick, was scheduled to face The Godfather on May 23, 1999 and while being lowered from the arena rafters, fell 78-feet to his tragic death.
Attempts to revive Hart failed and he would pass away from injuries sustained. WWE famously continued with the PPV following the tragedy and it was left to Jim Ross to make the announcement on live television.
We miss you Owen Hart.
