Bret Hart recalls the only time he was given a day off by WWE

Bret Hart, the WWE icon on the recent edition of Confessions Of The Hitman talked about the time when was given a day off during his career.

 


 

Bret Hart reveals the match after which he took day off

The Hitman had loved the idea of The King Of The Ring tournament as a pay-per-view, and takes pride to say that he was the inaugural winner of the same.

He recalled that in the finals of The King Of The Ring tournament, he squared off against Bam Bam Bigelow, who.

Hart considers him to be the best big guy in the history of pro wrestling and described him as a safe competitor and born to be a pro wrestler.

He remembered that he had worked so hard in the match and was so sore that he could not get out of the bed the next day. Thus, had to take the day off.

He said:

“After that match [versus Bigelow], I remember after I won that match, they gave me the day off the next day. I remember I could hardly get out of bed. That was the only time, to my memory, that they said, ‘You worked so hard last night you can take today off.’ And I accepted that.I was like, ‘Thank you. I will take the day off and I’ll enjoy every bit of it!'”

Bret Hart was a hard-worker during his stint and often regarded as Excellence of Execution. After that fight, his body must have been very sore that he to take a day off.
