Bret Hart says Goldberg should not be to be in Hall Of Fame

Bret Hart WWE Hall of Fame

WWE Hall Of Famer spoke to Prime Time With Sean Mooney, where he spoke candidly about Goldberg. He thinks Goldberg should not be in the Hall Of Fame as he does not deserve it. He then mentioned the wrestlers Goldberg injured, including himself.

“I wish that Bill Goldberg had never kicked me in the head as hard as he could. I don’t know how you give a guy a Hall of Fame thing for hurting as many wrestlers as Bill Goldberg hurt, and without consequence. He usually got a pat on the back and told how good of job he did out there, when you’re scraping the wrestler that worked with him off the mat. When Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head, I honest to God, I lost about 16 million dollars in like one second. I just signed with WCW for three million a year for another three years on top of the two years I had left on my original contract, so it was bad timing, and unfortunate.”

Hart also has issues with the people who are thanked by wrestlers in their induction speeches. According to Bret,  Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Vince McMahon are not worthy of the credit. The wrestlers who should be thanked should be the wrestlers the Hall of Famer worked with throughout the years.

“So many wrestlers that were up there never thanked anybody. They thanked Stephanie, and they thanked Vince, and they thanked Triple H, and I thought it was such bullsh*t. They should thank the wrestlers that made them, and the wrestlers that worked with them. I was so disappointed at how so many of them never thanked the wrestlers that went to all the trouble to help them. Most of them had no recollection of anyone helping them.”

Yea, we k ow Goldbergs ring work was never the best. But the guy made a huge impact in the sport. He helped carry WCW when the nWo was starting to get stale and did the best he could. Hes more deserving than quite a few guys that are already in the HOF. Brets accident, was just that… an accident. And Goldberg and Hart have stated that their is no animosity from it, a long time ago. Bret needs to face reality, that he isnt and wasnt the GOAT. And this is coming from a big fan of the Harts.

Not sure he lost 16mil really, seeing as WCW went under two years later. Maybe Turner or whoever would have had to honour it as he certainly would not have gone to WWE at that time. Surely if they were not paying him after his career was ended in one of their matches, they would not have continued paying him when there was no WCW.

Brets usually full of sh** anyway, but i do agree about Goldbergs in ring work

With respect to Bret Hart I take his comments with a gain of salt. It doesn’t mean a thing and everybody is entitled to there oppions doesn’t mean he is right.

Harrison is struggling with basic reading comprehension again. Never once does Bret Hart say the McMahons or Triple H aren’t worthy of credit.

This is what we call, “Grumpy Old Man” syndrome.

One thing I will say that is bullshit about this is that nobody ever thanks Vince McMahon during their Hall of Fame speeches. Vince has a strict rule that no one is to mention his name during their speech. I think HHH did it during the DX induction, or at least one of the members did, and even mentioned that they weren’t supposed to mention him or thank him but did anyway. And I personally don’t recall anyone ever thanking Stephanie or HHH either, so idk what he was talking about there.
