Brie Bella recently made what may be her final in-ring WWE appearance at the Royal Rumble, and Goldberg may have just had his swan song at Elimination Chamber. Goldberg discussed Mike Tyson, another star who had a famous Royal Rumble appearance, in a new interview.
Mike Tyson is most definitely one of the most legendary professional boxers in the history of the sport. Mike Tyson also sent a warning to Errol Spence previously.
Triller’s latest event featured Evander Holyfield squaring off against Vitor Belfort and getting knocked out in over a minute within the first round. Due to the match’s reception, new regulations will be imposed and that includes banning exhibition matches. Due to this, Mike Tyson and Holyfield may be banned from Triller.
Mike Tyson also shot down a chance to square off against Jake Paul in a boxing match as he felt it was not worth training hard for in the end. WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg was one of the most dominant forces in all of WCW during the beginning of his career, thanks to his 173 match winning streak.
Goldberg recently spoke to Dr. Beau Hightower, where he compared himself to Mike Tyson, stating that he was the Mike Tyson of all things professional wrestling at the time.
“I think what has made me successful and also made me hated is the thing that is the determining factor. I was the Mike Tyson of wrestling. My goal was to be something completely different. Black tights, black shoes, I didn’t frickin’ talk for six months. I just squished motherf***ckers.”
