Rumors recently started floating around regarding Brock Lesnar’s possible match at WrestleMania 39. He has been rumored to face the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther. Most the people are believing that the trilogy of Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley had been likely to take place at WrestleMania 39. However, It is believed that there is a very good chance of Lesnar-Lashley clash could be done at the Royal Rumble 2023 which will then set up a match between Lesnar and Gunther.
Reports emerge on the possible match
Xero News has reported that:
There has been atleast some small talk of having Brock Lesnar win the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther at WrestleMania. Whilst this cannot be confirmed to be 100% happening, some feel it is fresh and adds to what they are doing with the mid card titles.
The outlet further noted that if the company doesn’t move ahead with doing a Hell In A Cell match at Royal Rumble, then “it looks very likely to be the Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley 3 match inside the structure.”
Meanwhile, another match between Becky Lynch and Bayley is being spoken about for the Day 1 edition of RAW.
The outlet noted:
“There was small talk of potentially waiting and doing it on the 30th Anniversary show, but some feel that may be too long of a wait. Told it won’t be the Royal Rumble PPV though.”
