Brock Lesnar Forced Diva To Quit WWE After Affair

Former WWE star and Brock Lesnar’s wife, Sable had filed a legal case against the company for sexual harassment and unsafe work conditions. As reported by WrestlingNews.co, Steve Fall’s Ten Count recently spoke with former WWE star and Sable’s ex-husband Marc Mero. In 1999, Sable filed a $110 million lawsuit against WWE for sexual harassment and unsafe work conditions. Both Sable and the WWE settled outside the court. Sable walked out on the company only to return in 2003. The departure was on amicable terms, stating she wanted to get married to Lesnar and spend more time with her family.

Brock Lesnar wanted Sable to leave WWE for wedding

According to Brock Lesnar in his book Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival, The Beast Incarnate wanted Sable to quit WWE before they tied the knot. This was during a time when The Beast Incarnate was no longer with Vince McMahon’s company. Without any second thought, Sable complied with Lesnar’s request.

“I wanted to marry Rena. However, before I could do this, I needed her to get out of WWE. ‘If we want a relationship,’ I told her, ‘neither one of us can work for that company. We both know the long-term side effects of everything there.’ That was my only demand. Nothing else. Just that. And so she left World Wrestling Entertainment. She had worked so hard to get back into that company, and now she was leaving it again, except this time she was giving up her career for me. It couldn’t have been an easy decision.”

Brock Lesnar and Sable initially got engaged in 2004 but their engagement was called off in early 2005. The couple was engaged again in January 2006 and married on May 6, 2006.
