On this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Brock Lesnar was featured in a backstage segment with his former rival Jeff Hardy and it turns out that was pre-taped, as per a report by PWInsider.
Brock Lesnar had left the arena early
Lesnar had a huge staredown with Roman Reigns on the show. The segment ended with Lesnar putting down Reigns and The Usos. Later in the night, “The Beast Incarnate” interrupted Kayla Braxton’s interview with former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy, revealing himself to be a free agent. As per PWInsider, Lesnar left the arena following his attack on The Bloodline in the opening segment. Lesnar’s backstage segment was reportedly pre-taped. Big E Drops John Cena Bombshell
Lesnar had interrupted Hardy backstage, both men nodded at each other, and Hardy left the spot in a hurry. It is no secret that they share a history. They have been involved in fierce rivalry in the past.
Lesnar laid his hands on Roman Reigns and The Usos on SmackDown. He is set to challenge Reigns for the Universal title at Crown Jewel on October 21, 2021. We will see if Hardy and Lesnar reignite their rivalry in the company.
