Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever competed inside the squared circle. He had two tremendous runs in WWE, both of which resulted in him winning major World Championships and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 last year. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.
Brock Lesnar made his return at WWE SummerSlam and then appeared on a previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown and confronted Roman Reigns for a WWE Universal Championship match, which he eventually accepted.
The two were set to square off against each other at WWE Crown Jewel for the WWE Universal Championship on October 21st in Saudi Arabia. At the event, Brock Lesnar ended up losing the match after interference from The Usos and Roman Reigns using the WWE Universal Championship to hit Lesnar in the head.
Former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio recently spoke on UnSKripted with Dr. Chris Featherstone, where he revealed how Brock Lesnar used to interact with him backstage during his time in WWE. Del Rio has a lot of respect for The Beast Incarnate.
“Yes, he was always nice to us, both of us. All the performers were nice to me. But not all of them were nice to Ricardo. And you know we’ve talked about it in the past. But Brock was nice to both of us. That tells you a lot about the person that Brock Lesnar is. Because he could have just worked with me and ignored Ricardo as some other performers did, but he didn’t. He acknowledged Ricardo. He gave an opportunity to Ricardo and now, I’m always going to be grateful for that.
