Brock Lesnar to replace John Cena at upcoming SmackDown event

We noted before that Brock Lesnar will be facing Baron Corbin at an upcoming SmackDown Live House Show on July 29th. Though it appears that it won’t be the only SmackDown event Brock will be present at in the upcoming few months.

Lesnar is now being advertised for another upcoming SmackDown Live Event on Saturday, August 12th from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida where he is being advertised as a replacement for John Cena.

Currently, it’s not known who will be the opponent of the beast at the upcoming event. The reason why Cena will be missing the event is not known either, though The Cenation Leader is expected to work on the other events in the same weekend.

As we noted before, John is scheduled to appear on every SmackDown Live episode till the upcoming Battleground PPV starting with his return next week.

Now it’d be interesting to see whether or not Bock Lesnar is added to any more upcoming SmackDown Live Events and if his upcoming SmackDown appearances have any long term implications behind them.
