Bobby Lashley has teased that Brock Lesnar will have to wrestle himself, The Miz, Braun Strowman, and Drew McIntyre potentially in a multi-man match, or beat all of them in singles matches, if he wants to return to WWE and win the world championship. Edge had a rumored match with The Miz set for a big PPV.
Lashley told Vibe and Wrestling, “If Brock wants to be back in the picture, Brock is gonna have to work his way back up to the title shot as there is a lot of people waiting at the front door: myself, Braun, The Miz and several other people that want to have their shot at the title so he is not the man.
Of course, that fight, everybody would love to have some time in my career just because of the similarities between Brock and I. But at the end of the day, if Brock comes back, I welcome that challenge. But it is up to him, if it doesn’t, Drew is the man.”
The Miz said on the Oral Sessions podcast that he had no idea he would defeat McIntyre for the WWE title at Elimination Chamber.
“I didn’t… I had no idea! I went in there, and no one was talking to me. Like, all of the creative, I was like, ‘Is anyone going to talk to me?’ And then, I went in and figured out what was going on, and I was like, ‘Ok, this is it.’ You don’t believe it’s going to happen until you hear the 1-2-3.” Vince McMahon ‘changed’ the WrestleMania main event from a previous plan, as we’ve seen with The Miz’s title win.
