Brock Lesnar reportedly still under contract with UFC

Prior to WrestleMania 34, there were rumors of Brock Lesnar leaving WWE for UFC and the fact that Dana White was in attendance for the show had only fuelled these speculations.

However, when Brock ended up retaining the Universal Championship, it left people in shock and many started wondering what was his status with the MMA League.

During the latest episode of MMAweekly, White was asked about Lesnar and he revealed that the Beast is still under contract with the fighting league:

“No, that’s not one-hundred percent, I mean, he’s still under contract with the UFC, but we have not signed him to a fight. UFC, he’s still under contract with us, he still has fights on his deal. He just has to get into the USADA pool.”

Brock Lesnar has 6 months left on his suspension with U.S. Anti-Doping Agency which froze when he announced his retirement from the sport. So even if he has plans to return to the Octagon, he will first have to serve the suspension period.
