Brock Lesnar put Matt Riddle in his place at Royal Rumble, what was said?

As reported shortly after the Royal Rumble, Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar were involved in a verbal altercation backstage, and now more information has come to light on what actually happened.

 


 

It’s no secret Riddle has been tweeting about Lesnar for years and has said he will retire The Beast and it came to a head at the Rumble. TalkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy reports that Brock Lesnar actually approach Riddle and grabbed his shoulder to get his attention, then said:

“Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in $#!+ because you and I will never work together. Ever.”

Riddle, who has is no stranger to backstage confrontations, tried to respond but wasn’t given the chance by Lesnar who said his piece and promptly moved on. Fightful reports that Matt “was spoken to by Brock and he understood” and that Lesnar is the “wrong one to f*** with.”

He tweeted the following today after a short Royal Rumble outing in which he was eliminated after just 41 seconds.
