The former WWE star Brock Lesnar has not been seen in the company since he lost the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. As it turns out, it seems there are no plans of his return.
Brock Lesnar is unlikely to return
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, had spoken about the rumored Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar match that was planned for SummerSlam is unlikely to happen. No match has been planned for The Beast at the pay-per-view.
A deal has not been agreed upon between the company and Lesnar. He could only return once the deal is closed.
His merchandise was also removed from the WWE shop. Neither of parties are currently concerned about the deal ans Fightful Select reported that it is “taking longer than usual to work together again”
WrestlingNews.co had reported that the merchandise people have not been told to work on designs for Lesnar and it would have already in works if he was to make a return at ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’.
SummerSlam is currently is close to selling out so he’s not needed to sell extra tickets. Another huge match is in works between John Cena and Roman Reigns to headline the event. We will have to wait to seen when The Beast Incarnate actually returns.
