WWE star Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly one of the most dominating stars inside the squared circle. Someday he would have to hang up the boots, though he is nowhere near that. Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that there are already thoughts about, eventually one day that passing of the torch moment could take place at WrestleMania between Lesnar and Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson.

 


 

Brock Lesnar returned to SmackDown after two years

‘The Beast’ made his presence on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown. It certainly made a huge impact on ratings. The overnight ratings for SmackDown which took place at Madison Square Garden have been released. The episode drew an average of 2.217 million viewers, which is up from last Friday’s SmackDown episode that did an average of 2.147 million viewers on FOX, according to Spoiler TV. The first hour did 2.206 million viewers while the second hour did 2.227 million viewers. To compare, a week ago, the first hour had 2.141 million viewers and the second hour had 2.153 million viewers.

It also garnered an average of 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That is the same as the 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic the show did last week. It should be noted that this is the overnight number and the actual rating won’t be released until later this week. Last week’s show featured Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor with the title on the line.

This week’s episode featured a contract signing with Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch Edge vs. Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar returning to continue his feud with Paul Heyman and Reigns, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defending against The Street Profits, and more.
