Brock Lesnar’s former UFC rival Cain Velasquez visits WWE Performance Center for training

It was in October 2010 when Cain Velasquez defeated Brock Lesnar by first round TKO at UFC 121 and won his first UFC World Heavyweight Championship.

Now Velasquez has shown some interest in following the footsteps of his opponent and he recently showed up at the WWE Performance Center for training.

WWE.com promoted Cain’s visit to the PC and revealed that during the session he trained under the WWE PC coach Norman Smiley while also doing some DDP Yoga.

The post also features comment from the UFC Star himself in which he claimed that he has been a fan of professional wrestling since he was a kid:

“My experience here has been amazing, I’m just looking forward to being here and learning as much as I can. I’ve been a fan of the sport since I was a little kid, and now I get to participate in it.”

Whether his visit to the WWE facility means something for his future of the company is something only time will tell, and for now the fact that WWE went on and promoted it could be taken as a positive sign.
