On this week’s RAW, Paul Heyman announced that Brock Lesnar will be entering the Royal Rumble match as the first entrant. This was certainly unexpected and it seems it will lead to an interesting direction at Wrestlemania.
According to a report by Wrestle Votes, WWE will be setting up Brock Lesnar’s opponent for Wrestlemania with his current angle at the Royal Rumble. His opponent might not be from RAW.
Source says WWE is doing this Lesnar in the Rumble angle as a way to set up Brock’s Mania matchup. Which could signal its against someone from SD or NXT as Heyman mentioned a few times last night. Opens up a world of possibilities.
There are many talented Superstars in NXt and Smackdown who would be a worthy challenger for Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. We will find out at the Royal Rumble who it might be.
