Brodie Lee reveals how CM Punk warned him in WWE

All Elite Wrestling’s newest signee Brodie Lee was recently a guest on the Talk is Jericho podcast and during his interview with Chris Jericho, Lee revealed the advice that he once received from former WWE Champion, CM Punk.

Lee, who was recently revealed as The Dark Order’s Exalted One, discussed his nine-minute long match against The Usos and The New Day from WrestleMania 34. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion said that Punk had told him that “everything in WWE could always be better”, however, he initially didn’t know what the latter had meant.

“CM Punk once told me when we were feuding in 2014, I think, he goes, ‘Just so you know, man, everything in WWE could always be better.’ And it’s the same thing that rolls through my head all the time. Back then, I’m like, ‘No, f*** this guy, there’s no way that’s true,’ and it’s been true almost every [time].”

Following his release from WWE in 2019, Lee went on to appear on AEW, as he was finally revealed as the Exalted One and will be leading the force known as The Dark Order.
