As seen at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, The New Day reunited in a backstage segment. The two have been apart since Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were drafted to Monday Night RAW during the 2020 edition of the WWE Draft.
During the segment, all three members of The New Day could be seen wearing special ring gear, which as a tribute to their friend Brodie Lee, who tragically passed away last year. This received a lot of praise from fans and also from Brodie Lee’s wife, Amanda Huber.
Amdan Huber took to her Instagram and wrote a story where she commented on the special tribute made by The New Day. She said that they are her favourite people and that words cannot express the love she has for them and is glad to call them her friends.
She did not know about the tribute at all and she is in tears.
My favorite people. Words can’t express the love I have for these incredible men I’m lucky to call my friends. Just, wow. I had no idea they were going to do this gear and I’m in tears.
