Bruce Willis Has Dementia In Disneyland Video

Bruce Willis and his family recently enjoyed a magical day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, as captured in a heartwarming video shared by his wife, Emma Heming Willis, on Instagram. In the clip, Bruce, 68, could be seen riding the iconic Splash Mountain attraction with one of their daughters. With his arm protectively around her, Bruce playfully warned, “You better watch out. I think we’re going to go again.”

This joyful family outing comes after Bruce’s family made public his health struggles. In 2022, it was announced that the actor was experiencing aphasia, a language disorder, and in February 2023, a more specific diagnosis of FTD (frontotemporal dementia), a progressive brain disease, was revealed.

The Willis family visited Splash Mountain just before its closure for remodeling into a new Princess and the Frog-themed attraction. Emma, 44, expressed their excitement in the caption of her Instagram post, declaring their intention to return when the ride reopens as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. She expressed gratitude for the cherished memories created on Splash Mountain, accompanied by the hashtags #SplashMountain and #DisneylandLove.

Fans couldn’t help but notice Bruce’s protective nature toward his daughter in the video. One fan commented on his attention to safety, mentioning the dad safety belt, to which Emma replied, “Always,” accompanied by a red heart emoji.

The closure of Splash Mountain took place on Wednesday, May 31, as it undergoes a transformative “re-theming” process. The revamped attraction, set to debut in 2024, will be inspired by the beloved 2009 animated film, The Princess and the Frog, and will be named Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. While it will retain its log flume format, the storyline will be entirely new.

You bet this family will be back for more fun and laughs when you reopen as Tiana[‘s] Bayou!”

“Thanks for all the memories Splash Mountain ⛰️😅,” she continued, adding two hashtags: “#SplashMountain” and #DisneylandLove.”

In the comments section, one fan pointed out how protective Bruce was of his daughter, writing, “Awe! He’s doing the dad safety belt.”

In response, Emma wrote back, “Always,” adding a single red heart emoji

Disney had announced the closing date of the ride at Disneyland in April, following the closure of the Splash Mountain attraction at Walt Disney World in Orlando on January 23. Interestingly, some park visitors even attempted to sell water they claimed was from the Florida ride on eBay, hoping to profit from its final day.
