Bryan Danielson on his future in AEW:
So, I signed a three-year contract with AEW and I consider these like my final years as a full-time wrestler. But also not just like, okay, this is me just winding down. This is to me, this is the peak,” Bryan admitted. “This is going to be the best that I am ever going to be and ending my full-time career at that, ending it as the best version of myself.”
Danielson said that currently, he’s the best version of himself. The former WWE Champion said he learned a lot in his many years with WWE. Danielson added that mentally and physically, he’s the best he has ever been:
“I honestly feel like, right now, I’m the best version of myself that I’ve ever been. I’ve learned a lot in my 10 plus years in WWE. I honestly feel like, in some ways, I’m actually a little bit of a better athlete now because of the way that I train and all that kind of stuff…I feel like mentally and physically, I’m the best that I’ve ever been.”
Danielson recently took on Colt Cabana during this week’s AEW Dynamite as part of his mission to obliterate every member of The Dark Order en route to his AEW World Championship match with Hangman Page.
