WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has become known for his unabashed opinion on the current WWE product. The former Tag Team Champion explained on a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast why he thinks the Survivor Series and NXT Takeover: Wargames wins are huge for Rhea Ripley:
They put Rhea over, I think it’s the right decision. That woman is a star and will be as big of a star as WWE will let her and they should let her be a huge star because she’s a homegrown WWE talent. The sky is a limit with her look, her stature, her ability, and she’s only going to get better working with better people.
Rhea Ripley made a huge mark at Wargames when she emerged victorious along with Candice LeRae in the first ever women’s wargames match against Team Shayna Baszler in what was essentially a 4-on-2 match. She was able to recreate her magic at Survivor Series as well, leading the women’s NXT team to victory against RAW and Smackdown.
