Cain Velasquez on how long he intends to be in the WWE, rekindling his feud against Brock Lesnar

Former UFC star Cain Velasquez is set for his pro wrestling debut at the upcoming Crown Jewel event where he faces his former nemesis and the current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Wrestling News recently caught up with the former MMA star with Rey Mysterio along his side.

 


 

Velasquez claimed that his feud against Lesnar is personal and also added that he will be with the WWE for the next three years. He said:

“It’s personal. Him going in and hurting Rey and going in and start hurting his son Dominik, forget that. It’s personal, I’m going in there to beat his ass.”

“Yeah, I’ll be here for the next three years, for sure,” Velasquez said about the length of his WWE contract. “As I get better and better, I’m gonna keep doing this. I love it. I’m gonna keep doing it.”

On asked about the prospect of about fellow UFC star Conor McGregor coming to WWE in the future, Velasquez said that the Irishman is a great athlete and is amazing not only with his skills but also with his promos. He stated:

“Conor McGregor, he’s an amazing athlete. He’s amazing at what he does for the sport, even when he’s not fighting [with] his promos and everything.”
