As noted earlier, numerous people have come out and made sexual abuse allegations against Impact Wrestling’s Joey Ryan. He did issue a statement but has since disabled his Twitter account.
NXT’s Candice LeRae has used her Twitter handle to issue a statement about accusations made towards someone she trusted, but does not mention Ryan by name. It should be noted LaRae previously formed the “World’s Cutest Tag Team” in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla with Ryan, who incidentally also attended her wedding to Johnny Gargano.
