Carlito has been rumored to be on a three week trial run with the help of MVP after his Royal Rumble and Raw appearances, but on WWE’s The Bump this morning, he appeared to shoot down any talk that he has concrete plans right now with WWE. Carlito hinted that money played a role in his WWE return. Wrestling-Edge transcribed his comments.
He was asked if he is back with WWE, and said, “Who knows, I don’t know man. It was fun, I’d like to do it again. As of now, I don’t know. It was one time, and I really enjoyed it. It was a great experience, I was just happy to be back and do my thing one more time.”
He also discussed getting in great shape for his Royal Rumble return, “I’ve been in shape before, I don’t know. When you get to my age, you learn about dieting. You can get away when your younger, but now you have to learn how to eat spinach, that’s one thing. Spinach and chicken breasts, apples too.”
Carlito said he has not slept since his Royal Rumble and Raw returns, “It’s been crazy, it’s been amazing. I haven’t even slept yet. I’m hoping at some point to get some rest, but I’m still fired up from performing.”
MVP appeared to react to reports that he helped get Carlito a 3-week trial run with WWE with crying emojis and a tweet reading, “The dirt sheets never get it right. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🍎😉.”
