Carmella Reveals Lie About Sasha Banks

The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella recently came in defense of WWE RAW commentator Corey Graves. It comes after he made some comments about the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions Naomi and Sasha Banks on the latest episode of WWE RAW. Graves, who is Carmella’s husband, said on commentary that Naomi and Banks “summarily and unprofessionally walked out” during the show. The remark sparked backlash online, with many social media users criticizing the RAW announcer.

Writing on Twitter, Carmella clarified that Graves is not allowed to simply say whatever he likes on television. She also seemingly confirmed that he was told to say those words about the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

“@aamywinn Imagine still living in a world where you think he just says whatever he wants. He does his job. Period.”

Carmella’s post came after a Twitter user wrote “get your man @CarmellaWWE” in response to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp quoting Graves’ commentary.

It is well known that WWE’s higher-ups, most notably WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, occasionally feed lines to commentators via a headset during live broadcasts.

The WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi recently grabbed the headlines when they took a huge step during last night’s WWE RAW. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss.

In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building. Sasha and Naomi were seemingly upset with the creative direction and the issue was taken to Mr. McMahon. McMahon didn’t back down. When he didn’t agree with the ideas presented by the team, they decided to walk out:
