Carmella and some other big WWE names are advertised for WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden, including Brock Lesnar. It is hard to argue that Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever competed inside the squared circle. He had two terrific runs in WWE, both of which saw him winning major World Titles and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 back in 2020. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.
Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal Five-Way match at WWE Day 1. However, he would lose the title to Bobby Lashley last month after Roman Reigns interfered in the match thanks to Paul Heyman turning on The Beast Incarnate.
Lesnar then won the Men’s Royal Rumble match and went on to choose Roman Reigns as his opponent for WrestleMania. At the same event, Ronda Rousey also made her shocking return and won the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Rousey will challenge Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship while Lesnar will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38.
Brock Lesnar will face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Title at the MSG Show while Ronda Rousey will team up with Sasha Banks and square off against Charlotte Flair and Natalya at the same show on March 5th.
