Championship match pulled from Royal Rumble

Royal Rumble

At first, it was announced that the finals of the ongoing United States Championship tournament will be taking place at the upcoming Royal Rumble event.

However, the company has now confirmed that this match has been pulled from the show and the finals will instead be happening at the 23rd January episode of SmackDown Live.

It’s worth mentioning here that tonight’s episode of the Blue Branded show will still be featuring both Semi Final matches, Xavier Woods vs. Jinder Mahal and Bobby Roode vs. Mojo Rawley.

Also with more time and slots to work, workers improve. I know he is not popular but look at Roman when he first started his singles run, his in ring work was mediocre to say the least but given time and putting in the work on the whole has really helped with that. He is just one example. we learn by doing and repetition. More time equals better workers in the long run.

The only real problem with that is they have already rushed several female wrestlers to the main roster who are not ready (Absolution and Riott Squad members), so unless they actually bring the right people up, the womens roster will end up suffering.

Well this weeks Smackdown is not the 23rd.
Well done to WWE for keeping that one secret.

    ROCK STAR SPUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt can’t be “BROKEN” without BROTHER NERO. Therefore, his only way in, is being “WOKEN” on his own. Different Universe, same story line… work with it.

  • Soulshroude

It’s more than obvious now, isn’t it? Time for Ziggler to regain HIS TITLE!!!

  • Nicholas Giambattista

I think they will also move the 2 out of 3 Falls to the Pre Show.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

The 2 Royal Rumble matches going take up to much of the time. That is why they have to move the United States title match.

  • Buzzkiller73

I agree we don’t need 6 hour rumble ppv.

  • Buzzkiller73

No the experiment has failed keep 205 that’s fine but lose them from RAW!! Just my opinion. I would rather see the womens division grow and take their time slots!

  • CC

    No IC title either.
A PPV like this does not need all the titles on the line as there just is not enough time to make all the matches a decent length of time, and good.

As it stands, I reckon at least one or two of those listed matches will end up on the pre-show anyway.

What difference does an name change make if the gimmick is identical?
He is cutting identical style promo’s. Acting exactly the same. Dressing the same.
Do you really think using the Broken name would be make or break?

Matt Hardy needs to change back to “BROKEN” the “WOKEN” name is going to FAIL. These past two weeks have been brutal. He’s getting practically no REACTION from the crowd when he makes his entrance. Better do something fast before it’s too late.

Nothing wrong with the cruiser weights they need more exposure if anything else
