As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns defended his Intercontinental Championship against the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe.
However, while Joe did win this bout, he didn’t get the title because Reigns was disqualified from the match after shoving the former NXT Champion in a corner and beating him even after the 5 counts from the referee.
Now Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has announced that Reigns will once again be defending his Championship against the former NXT Star at next week’s episode of the show.
He revealed the news via the following tweet and also stated that if Roman gets disqualified this time then he will not only lose the bout but his title as well:
On the first #Raw of 2018 @WWERomanReigns will defend his #ICTitle against @SamoaJoe; if Roman is DQ’ed, he’ll lose the match AND his title

No other matches have officially been announced for the show yet but as we noted before, the Beast Brock Lesnar will be making an appearance at the event.
