The captivating world of professional wrestling has a rich tapestry of stories waiting to be told, and now it appears that two prominent WWE Superstars, Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair, are about to embark on an exciting new venture. They have been cast in an upcoming film that revolves around the life and accomplishments of a trailblazer in women’s wrestling.

In a departure from the squared circle, WWE Superstars occasionally receive opportunities outside of their wrestling personas. Seth Rollins, for instance, recently made waves by landing a role in the highly anticipated film “Captain America: New World Order.” The company has shown a willingness to grant Superstars time off for filming commitments, and now Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair are set to capitalize on these opportunities.

According to a report by Sean Sapp on Fightful Select, both Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan have secured roles in an upcoming biographical film centered around the legendary figure Mildred Burke. The film is scheduled to be shot in the vibrant city of Louisville, Kentucky, next month, promising an immersive experience for the cast and crew.

The movie, which features Emily Bett Rickards in the lead role as Mildred Burke, will delve into the life, career, and marriage of this influential wrestling pioneer. Drawing inspiration from the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “Queen of the Ring” by Jeff Leen, the film is being produced by Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins, with Ash Avildsen taking on the dual roles of writer and director.
