Charlotte Flair is set for a monumental contest for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship against current champion Rhea Ripley at WWE Hell in a Cell. Ahead of this match however, Flair took time out of her schedule to address the media. Charlotte Flair recently made this shocking Andrade AEW bombshell.
In a new interview with the New York Post, the former Raw Women’s Champion discussed a wide variety of topics. Here WWE’s resident Queen discussed her significant other – Andrade who is now in rival promotion All Elite Wrestling. Andrade was released from his WWE contract earlier this year. Flair discusses why Andrade decided to leave WWE and how proud she is of the one time WWE United States Champion for what he has been able to do since his exit from the company. I’m so inspired and motivated by him. I can’t imagine. To be in WWE was his dream. But he just got there and was like, ‘I want more. I need more. I want to be better. I want to perform to show them who Andrade is.’ And to take that leap of faith and say, ‘I know I can go out there and do it,’ and prove it and show them and reinvent himself and be motivated, I’ve just been so inspired and in awe of him doing that. I know he’s gonna kill it [in AEW.] He’s so young too, like I know this is just the beginning and working on his English. I just support him 100 percent and I’m so proud of him.
