The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and AEW star Andrade El Idolo have finally tied the knot. Photos and videos from their wedding ceremony that took place on May 27th made their way to the internet. Some of the couple’s closest friends including Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, and Nia Jax attended the event.

Dave Meltzer had previously revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Charlotte would be on a break from WWE for the foreseeable future as she plans on getting married to Andrade:
“That is, in fact, the case. It’s the angle to write her off to get married. So, yeah!”
Charlotte Flair failed to successfully defend the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey as the former ended up screaming the words, ‘I Quit’ at WrestleMania Backlash Premium Live Event. The match received a lot of praise for being much better than expected.
Following the conclusion of the match, WWE commentators noted that ‘The Queen’ suffered an injury but it seems it is kayfabe. As per WWE’s medical update, Flair suffered a fractured radius during her loss to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash. She was written off TV as she will reportedly take some time off after a seven-month run as the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Charlotte Flair will be “out of action indefinitely”
During a recent episode of WWE’s The Bump, it was announced that Flair will be “out of action indefinitely” following her “I Quit” match against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash. WWE is claiming that Flair suffered a fracture of the radius in the match. For those who are unaware, the radius is a forearm bone.
