Charlotte Flair is back on WWE television.
‘The Queen’ made a surprise return at WWE TLC on Sunday night, teaming up with RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. The two challenged the Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the title.

Asuka was originally set to pair up with Lana. But true to what has been the norm on RAW for the last many weeks, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler attacked Lana last week as well, leaving her injured. Asuka had come to her rescue, but it was already too late.
Lana could not compete at TLC after that, and Asuka was left looking for a new partner.
Charlotte Flair had been out of the ring since around June, and was expected to make a return when Asuka was left without a partner. Not disappointing the WWE Universe, ‘The Queen’ indeed made a comeback and looked better than ever.
Before the match, Billie Kay took her resume to Asuka. But ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ said that the ‘position’ of her partner has been filled.
Charlotte Flair gets the pin for her team
For the Women’s Tag Team Championship match, first Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler made their way to the ring, followed by Asuka.
As the WWE Universe eagerly waited to see who was Asuka’s surprise partner, Charlotte Flair’s music played. ‘The Queen’ made her entry in a royal manner.
Asuka started the match, but Charlotte Flair ended it, getting the pin with a Natural Selection. Before that, she gave the WWE Universe a taste of all her trademark moves, including chops and the Figure 8, as Ric Flair watched on TV backstage.

Charlotte had her eyes set on Nia Jax from the very beginning, and pinned ‘The Irresistible Force’ to get the win. Charlotte Flair and Asuka were crowned the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The Men’s Tag Team titles also changed hands. The Hurt Business’ Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander beat New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to become the new Champions. All other Championships were defended at TLC.
