WWE fans noticed how the name of SmackDown star Raquel Rodriguez‘s finishing move name was changed. The latest episode of SmackDown saw Raquel Rodriguez take on the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey in a Championship contenders match. It was interrupted as they teamed up to take on Shayna Baszler and Natalya in an impromptu tag team match. Fans noted how the commentators revealed a new name for Rodriguez’s finishing maneuver.

WWE changed Raquel Rodriguez finishing move name

Previously, the commentary team was muted anytime they mentioned the “Chingona Bomb.” Fans suspected that WWE did this intentionally. On the May 27 episode of SmackDown, the move was called “The Texana Bomb.” This change was made as WWE felt “Chingona” sounded too close to “Ch*ngar,” which is a vulgar word. Rodriguez and Ronda Rousey ended up defeating Shayna Baszler and Natalya. It was Rodriguez, who hit “The Texana Bomb” on Baszler for the win.

Speaking about her victory in a backstage interview, Raquel said she’s ready to take down anyone who tries to disrupt her plans. The powerhouse added that she also has a score to settle with Ronda:

“Well, Megan, when you’re on your rise to the top, there are going to be a lot of people who aren’t going to like you. But you know what? Line them up and I will take each and every single one down. And tonight, yeah, Ronda was my partner and we did come up victorious, but I can’t wait to finish what we started.”

We will have to see if Rodriguez gets another shot at Rousey after this week’s scheduled match was interrupted by Natalya and Shayna Baszler.
