Charlotte Flair wins the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36

The Night 2 of WrestleMania 36, kick-started with the highly-awaited match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Having won the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Charlotte Flair chose to challenge Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at this year’s WrestleMania, as ‘The Queen’ walked into the show hoping to end the latter’s inaugural reign as NXT Women’s Champion.

Throughout the duration of the match, Flair worked on Ripley’s left knee and despite the latter trying her best to hold her own ground, ‘The Queen’ eventually managed to walk away with the NXT Women’s Title after the Aussie sensation tapped out to Flair’s Figure-Eight Leglock.

With the win, Charlotte ended Ripley’s first reign as NXT Women’s Champion on the 109th-day mark and marked the beginning of her second-reign as NXT Women’s Champion.

As Charlotte Flair now gets set to return to the black-and-gold brand of NXT, it remains to be seen which superstar wins the upcoming #1 contenders ladder match to earn the first shot at Flair’s NXT Women’s Championship.
