Chris Hemsworth, best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel cinematic universe, has recently signed on to play Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic from Netflix.
ET Canada broke the news today, revealing that it will focus on the rise of Hulkamania in the world of professional wrestling. Therefore, don’t expect to see anything involving Hogan’s sex tape scandal or the lawsuit against Gawker Media to appear here.
Hulk Hogan himself will serve as a consultant and executive producer for the film along with Hemsworth, Bradley Cooper, and director Todd Phillips. Aside from that, it’s unknown who else is set to appear in the film.
