Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega engage in a brawl at the Double or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party

As reported earlier, Kenny Omega appeared at the Double or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party and announced that he’s officially signed with All Elite Wrestling.

However, while Omega was on-stage, talking about his new venture, he was interrupted by none other than Chris Jericho. Y2J, heelish as always, made his way to the stage and had a face-off with Omega.

Heated words were exchanged between the two and things soon got physical and a brawl broke out. Officials came out and separated the two and Jericho was taken backstage.

Omega then ended the segment and the show by bidding everyone a Good Night.

One would not be wrong to assume that a match between the two is inevitable in the very, very near future.

So, let me get this straight… Jericho and Omega, even after Omega is announced as the President of AEW? Will this be a continued work as AEW rises, or is this actual kayfabe from Jericho, or Omega?

  • AEW next big thing.

Agree 🙂 this is the biggest signing in professional wrestling since Hogan signed with WCW.

Chris jericho loves him some Chris jericho.

  • If you didn’t expect it, you aren’t paying attention.

Actually all those reasons is why WWE sucks lol which is now why both Raw and Smackdown are having a bad rating marathon each week. And if they think bringing in Jeff Jerret is suppose to push the ratings….they are highly wrong about it. Bringing in Jeff is gonna make it worse. JJ is one of the worst wrestlers of all time, not to mention his Red Neck Gimmick was awful back then and its still bad now…..and Road Dogg….ugh don’t get me started on him…I know he’s been on the Creative team for years[which may be why the writing sucks balls] but bringing him back on tv with jeff is just makes me want to puke in my mouth.

Damn I can’t wait for AEW……man I can’t wait. I got to be honest I didn’t expect Kenny to go to AEW. But it’s a awesome surprise. WWE is gonna be out of business by the end of the year.

But that’s what to me is entertaining, there’s nothing wrong with that, as far as WWE hasn’t sucked for many years, well the PG rating has it’s downsides, it restricts and limits wrestlers on what they can and cannot do, and that’s the problem, they have to say something heavily from a script and they look almost lifeless and dull. IF WWE hasn’t sucked, why are the ratings down recently?

If AEW goes down the path of the Attitude Era it will fail. TNA tried to stay in the Attitude Era it didn’t work. Stick with wrestling is the key an AEW looks like that what they are going to do.

Yes, because Bra and Panties matches, stupid sexual gimmick characters and hour long comedy skits is exactly what wrestling needs to go back to.

WWE hasn’t sucked for many years because of the “PG” rating. It’s sucked because of terrible writing/booking, and typical gross misuse of the talented stars they SHOULD be pushing, but usually don’t.

Hahaha this is great, WWE is screwed, if AEW succeeds and gets higher ratings than WWE, Vince McMahon should rethink his strategy, this is what he gets for holding other wrestlers from reaching their full potential, being the stubborn ba***** he is if he keeps this up, everyone is leaning towards AEW, hopefully this will force Vince to make WWE TV-14 again
